Established in 1949, Ilkley Choral Society continues the longstanding tradition of bringing music to the local community in association with our sister Society at Otley. 

We try to include an annual performance of the ever popular Handel’s “Messiah” within our wide repertoire of classical music. See “History page 2” for a list of performed works.   

We are fortunate to have a modern rehearsal venue in Christchurch on The Grove and the lovely surroundings of St. Margaret’s Church for concerts in Ilkley.

 We welcome new members, no voice test is necessary.  We especially welcome young singers and those rare commodities - tenors!
